Financial Accountant - European language speaker

An opportunity has arisen in a Property Management and Investment organisation for a Financial Accountant to join the team in London. The role has come about due to the continued growth of the business within both the European and UK market and the business is expanding rapidly as a result.

You will be joining a small finance team and will be liaising across the other European businesses so knowledge of a European language is essential.

Client Details

The client are experts in Property Management who initially set up in Europe with a presence in Italy, Germany, Cyprus, Poland and France. They have now expanded into the UK and currently manage a portfolio of properties worth £0.5 billion.

Description

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and management accounts for all companies under management
• Prepare annual statutory accounts and financial reporting packs for review by the auditors
• Balance Sheet reconciliations and variance analysis/reporting for the reported period
• Prepare budget packs
• Quarterly compliance certificates for banks and investors
• Liaising with Companies House & HMRC
• Manage and support Accounts Assistant
• Liaising with European entities and offices: Italy, Germany, France, Poland & Cyprus
• Maintain the corporate register and keep all KYC up to date

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have attention to detail as you will be working with banks and investors so accuracy is key
• Have strong business-acumen and be aware of corporate structures and stakeholders
• Be experienced with both Financial and Management Accountant
• Be Fluent or intermediate in a European language
• Potentially have worked abroad
• Be incredibly disciplined, organised and able to liaise confidently with external investors/banks

Job Offer

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for a Financial Accountant who can speak at least one other Language to join a growing Property business in Central London.

You will initially be paid of a day rate between £150-£200 per day dependent on your experience. Upon successful completion of the temporary assignment, your permanent salary will be between £40,000-£45,000.
