Financial planning & analysis Intern

The Finance team's goal is to be a trusted and collaborative partner to all the businesses and functional teams that we work with, bringing business acumen, financial expertise and insights to aid decision-making and deliver value to our stakeholders. We strive to generate value through providing specialist advice and making recommendations to optimize decision making, delivering transparent processes and implementing governance and controls to mitigate risk.

The FP&A Intern will be responsible for providing financial support for Latam organization. This position will assist in projects associated with forecasting, accounting, analytical assessment and reporting of key performance metrics that support profit & loss statement.

This is a hybrid role, and the office is based out in Sao Paulo.

Let's talk about Responsibilities-

• Work on assigned projects that may include analysis, reporting, and/or building predictive financial models
• Provide timely, relevant and insightful reporting and commentary on financial KPI performance and variances to plan and/or forecast
• Provide financial support for margin analysis
• Provide analysis and support for assigned departments on an as needed basis
• Present your key findings

The successful candidate will utilize strong analytical skills and be comfortable working within a knowledgeable team of cross-functional professionals. We are looking for a team player with interest in learning in a fast-paced business environment.

Required:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program working towards a degree in either Finance, Accounting and/or Economics
• Detail oriented with focus on quality and accuracy
• Good written, verbal, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Efficient, effective and well organized

Preferred:

• Excel experience
• Teamwork & interpersonal skills
• Positive can-do attitude & determined to learn
