KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Partly qualified in Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA) or CIMA /ACCA.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years working experience in Finance & Accounting in commercial sector.
  • Experience in Big 4 Audit Firms would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in ERP/accounting software preferably SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Sinhala and English.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completing routine accounting tasks such as preparing balance sheet schedules including bank reconciliations, maintaining reports, and completing basic bookkeeping and accounting duties.
  • Proficient in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or SLFRS.
  • Liaison with external, internal auditors and handle the annual audit.
  • Collaborate with finance managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks and assisting soft and hard month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Monitor and report monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI results against budget to the respective SBU stakeholders and senior management.
  • Provide divisional management with timely insight into operational performance, advice on variances, trends, and corrective action to be taken
