Our client, an international company active in the digital sector, is located in Brussels.

You will be in charge to strengthen the financial support to the department with a particular focus on actively supporting several divisions within finance. The role of these divisions is to drive technology innovation and create long term business models to feed the overall business strategy.

Finance Business Partner

Main responsibilities include:

• Structuring and reporting key financial figures for the finance department to facilitate decision making;
• Being responsible for the analysis, understanding and communication of financial variances during the closing processes, as well as during the various financial review exercises (Budget/Forecast, etc.);
• Taking part in strategic discussions and bringing your financial point of view;
• Leading the financial review and long-term strategic planning exercises to ensure that the objectives set are aligned with the demands of the business;
• Being the guarantor of the opinion and good financial governance in the various projects and investment decisions (Business Case, CAPEX, etc.);
• Ensuring that the financial processes and flows are properly implemented;
• Answering ad-hoc questions from management or any other internal or external interlocutor.

Profile

Finance Business Partner

The ideal candidate:

• Master's degree in Economics/Management;
• You have at least 5 years of experience;
• Good understanding of the accounting principles (BEGAAP, IFRS, etc.);
• You are fluent in English, French AND/OR Dutch;
• You are rigorous, conscientious, pragmatic and curious;
• You have a positive attitude, and you are a team player.
