Minhang - Corp Strategy Manager

This is a Corp strategy role directly in charge of Group China level business strategy projects, M&A project and Post M&A coordinations. You will deal with company leadership team and function head & other stake holder to coordinate business strategy.

Description

- Support and coordinate yearly Strategic Planning exercise, esp. workshop preparation and facilitation, coordination of workstreams, and challenging of results
- Understand the Group China's strategy and development areas/gaps and continuously monitor the marketplace for opportunities, potential solutions and partners, with topics including, but are not limited to, new technologies and new energy solutions.
- Carry out the feasibility study based on identified opportunities, and build up the business case with a clear framework payback calculation and other financial analysis, with the financial function
- Be responsible for planning and managing the implementation of the approved M&A projects, together with a cross-functional team
- Be responsible for ensuring the quality and progress of the projects, including budgeting, timeline, due diligences and other relevant KPIs
- Use the merge and acquisition projects to support the buildup of key competence for the organization in short and long term, and support local design, supply chain and production setup in a locally competitive and cost efficient way.
- Benchmark the advantages of Chinese competitors, propose and support the good practice within the organization
- Understand the local government's related policy and guideline on investment in merge and acquisitions, to provide insights and directions

Profile

Knowledge & Educational Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in Finance, business administration/economics
- Knowledge about the Chinese policy and practices on investment and merge and acquisition projects
- Solid financial knowledge
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred

Experience requirements
- Minimum 10 years' working experiences, with solid experience in Corp strategy, merge & acquisition of projects within the Auto industry
- Ability to interact with people from various company levels (including senior management) and cultures inside and outside the company, due to high exposure nature of the role.
- You have successfully led or had a central role in significant change projects/initiatives
