Accounting Team Lead (HK)

What you'll do:

⭐ Manage bookkeeping and full set of accounts for HK-based clients, handling
portfolios of min. 30 clients.

⭐Review and assist in recording financial transactions from source documents into
Accounting System based on Accounting Standards and Accurate Reconciliation

⭐Review client deliverables (management reports, financial accounts etc) to ensure
consistent quality and timely delivery to client

⭐Assist in audit liaising for own portfolio of clients

⭐Advise technical lead by providing input/ feedback into our software development
process, assist on monitor the software migration process and software
implementation

People Management :

⭐You will work directly with our Accounting Lead in managing a team of Accountants
and Account Associate/ Executive

⭐Contribute to company strategic direction as member of management and be ready
to manage a team of accountants/ account executives upon starting

⭐Touch base on the members career needs and daily improvements

⭐Manage and appraise the team to achieve company wide target

⭐Solve accounting related issues for the team, and escalate any bigger issues and
manpower need

⭐Handle client complaints to reduce/ mitigate the complaint cases in team
In-charge of complains for operational aspect

⭐Learn how-to for the internal developed software and be the go-to person for
members

⭐Updates of common practice/ knowledge on Company’s wiki

⭐Provide trainings to the team on the company’s software and accounting knowledge

Who you are:

⭐Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. Professional certification ACCA/MIA
is a PLUS

⭐Min 2-3 years of experience at a top-tier accounting firm or fast-growth venture-backed startup environment with at least 1-2 years of managing
people/team experience

⭐Experience building processes and executing projects in the past is preferred

⭐Specialised in Finance - General/Cost Accounting/Auditing or equivalent as an Executive / Senior Executive

⭐Familiarity in handling cloud accounting software such as Xero and/or Quickbooks will be added advantage

⭐Able to work meticulously under tight deadlines
