Description

• To implement financial controls in the businesses which prevent misuse and misappropriation of funds or assets and inefficient cost control. Reviewing of month end activities e.g. monthly cost has been properly capture in system and report are generated in timely basis.
• Preparation of reports daily/ weekly/monthly which include but are not limited to sales analysis, food and beverages cost reports, monthly management accounts.
• Serve as a key member of the senior management team to develop operational and strategic business plans, forecasts and feasibility studies.
• Responsible for preparation of consolidation financial statements
• Preparation of annual budgets.
• Preparation and presentation of monthly Business Review.
• To ensure all the Group policies and procedures are implemented properly. Where a policy or procedure is required but not yet developed, to develop such policy in the required format, obtain the necessary approvals and implement.
• Ensure compliance of all local regulations, taxation, audit and statutory reporting in Malaysia.
• Submission of a monthly Financial management report summarizing the performance of the businesses which includes a P&L, variance analysis against budget and forecast, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Management and control of all banking related transactions.
• Daily cash flow monitoring and management which includes the management of payables.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations review and authorize.
• Preparation of accounts must be in line with Accounting Standards.
• Manage and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Developing and monitoring KPI's for the finance staff.
• Computer literate in Excel and Navision will be added advantage.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Superior from time to time

Profile

• Candidate with Professional Qualification (ACCA) or recognized Accounting Degree
• 3-4 years' related working experience preferably with audit background
• well-versed of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards, GST and Income Tax Regulations
• able to work independently with minimum supervision
• good interpersonal, analytical and report writing skills
• computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Words, Powerpoint) and familiar with computerised accounting system
