Why this job matters

This role leads the provision of accounting services for the Consumer Procurement and Supply Chain teams as well as providing accounting and business partner support for the Added Value Products P&L by providing timely, efficient and accurate financials to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Supply Chain and Procurement Finance team and act as the key contact to support the operational management teams
  • Manage financial support for forward and reverse logistics, accessories and insurance including accounting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Manage the delivery of commercial support to the insurance schemes within EE including contract and project support to drive margin improvement
  • Ensure robust and integrated weekly and monthly stock reporting and forecasting
  • Work with Procurement to ensure positive commercial decisions are made in terms of handset contracts regarding cashflow, supplier credits and rebates
  • Supply up to date cash flow forecasting for stock and supplier credits to support the delivery of the EE cash target
  • Work closely with the Commercial Accounting team to ensure alignment on P&L impacts and any variances vs budgets/forecasts
Required Experience:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills working collaboratively across various teams across the business
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills and ability to understand complex financial standards
  • Experience of implementing process improvements to drive operational efficiency
  • Ability to guide a team, managing day to day activities and performance mangement
