This role is part of the Capital Markets FX Business Partnering team. The role will partner with senior stakeholders in the FX business to enable decision making and drive growth, predominantly focused on driving key decisions with data and implementation of processes to drive efficiencies, enabling growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop trusted strategic relationships with stakeholders across the FX business across multiple business lines, including product and sales teams
  • Actively look for ways to support stakeholders and present opportunities to drive growth of the business and enable decision making to achieve shared business goals
  • Drive the FX long term and strategic growth plan engaging with key stakeholders within FX, Finance and the broader LSEG teams as necessary
  • Work with proposition leads on pricing and commercials for the FX business and associated analysis around pricing changes as necessitated to grow the business, including those driven by FXI rollout, liaising across the FX and FX finance teams
  • Establish processes to move offline activities for the FX business to LSEG systems where possible with the goal of generating additional efficiencies in managing the business
  • Work collaboratively to increase analytics capabilities across the team and drive the business through data driven observations and analytical insight; enhanced data modelling techniques
  • Key contact for CM Finance, Central Finance, Strategy and broader Finance teams across LSEG
Behaviors and skills required to be successful in the role:
  • Strong financial background, qualified accountant: ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Pro-active behavior that demonstrates initiative, leadership, and positive work ethic to ensure activities are delivered to the highest standards in accordance with deadlines
  • Proven track record in Business Partnering:
    • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills and the ability to work with large amounts of data
    • Strong customer-focus with a commercial mindset and good communication skills
    • Proven track record of leading planning and regular forecasting process across a number of business areas and functions
    • Ability to deliver presentation materials and analysis to a high standard
    • Driver of change, constantly looking for improvements in processes
    • Ability to influence senior management to consider key financial issues within the business
    • Ability to deal with complex issues and ambiguity, and implement practical and innovative solutions to problems to drive the business
  • Adept at conveying complex financial information to both finance and non-finance partners
  • Ability to manage direct and indirect reports in a matrix model and work with the COE
  • Work effectively in teams and across functions of the business
  • Expert with MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
