Role Purpose:

An exciting Finance Manager opportunity has arisen supporting the Post Trade and Capital Markets divisions. This cross divisional role will focus delivering consistent month end & budget processes and assisting with ongoing monthly finance deliverables. Extensive collaboration will be required with the finance business partners to understand drivers of performance which will be summarised to produce a coherent divisional narrative.

This role reports into the Senior Finance Manager, Post Trade & Capital Markets and is part of the Post Trade/Capital Markets Business Partnering team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the production of the monthly divisional reporting, including:
  • Divisional MBR
  • WD3 Flash and WD11 Forecast
  • Analysis and profitability reporting
  • Completing all Post Trade and Capital Markets finance outputs, ensuring cross divisional consistency
  • Co-ordinate and work closely with Finance Business Partners in the annual Budget & reforecasting process and support the modelling of divisional financial risk & opportunities
  • Identify and implement improvements to the reporting processes creating efficiencies
  • Support ad hoc projects & key strategic developments for the finance team
  • Work closely with wider LSEG finance community and share best practices and enhance reporting quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Finance Business Partners to build a credible narrative for business performance and summarise the information to present a divisional narrative of performance.
Personal Qualities & Experience:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Energised self-starter, proactive in challenging status quo and driving efficiencies
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling background
  • Previous experience with budgets and forecasting processes
  • Ability to draw attention to key financial performance indicators
  • Clear, concise communicator
  • Highly organised, able to adeptly navigate across teams and subject areas
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and escalate issues when necessary
