We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:
  • Strengthen HSBC's image as a leading wealth provider by providing clients with access to advanced technical product expertise, and provide internal training materials on portfolio strategy, as well as investment product insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct training to support and deliver new investment product launches, and improve frontline's financial planning knowledge and product specific technical knowledge by effective on-job coaching and training
  • Develop external seminar materials that align with HSBC's house view and Pinnacle's financial planning framework. Keynote speaker in customer seminars
  • Supply timely market and product updates to both frontline and customers
  • Collect and apply market and channel intelligence to identify and share competitive gaps, service issues, business opportunities, and challenges with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Investment Product Team and Financial Planning Team on new products, product enhancements and improvements in customer experience

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • University degree with honours in economics, finance, business, mathematics or a related discipline
  • Minimum of six years of working experience as a product specialist or financial advisor
  • Strong client skills with the ability to deliver a strong client experience and provide needs-based solutions
  • Deep knowledge of specific complex financial solutions and products including the knowledge of financial markets, socia-economic dynamics, and regulatory requirement relevant to the products
  • Extensive external market awareness of market conditions, new product solutions, and an understanding of current financial market activities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Demonstrates ability to set stretch goals for self and the ability to deliver these with courage and tenacity
  • Excellent investment consultation and presentation skills
  • Obtained Fund Qualification from AMAC (preferred)
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
