SENIOR PRACTICE ACCOUNTANT - WEST MIDLANDS - FULL TIME

Accountancy Elite have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join an established independent practice based in the Birmingham area. The firm offer a personal, tailored approach to clients, so the ideal candidate must possess fantastic client interaction skills and be willing to "go the extra mile". Our client have been established more than 10 years looking after a variety of clients in the area. They offer a range of services allowing clients to benefit from in house specialists and the very latest accounting software.The ideal candidate will not only possess the required skill sets & qualifications but they will also have a real drive to grow within the company. The candidate will benefit from full exposure across accounts, audit & tax projects and have experience of managing junior team members.
THE ROLE
·Managing a portfolio of clients varying across multiple industries
·Preparing financial statements (including profit / loss)
·Preparation of limited company accounts, partnership accounts & sole traders
·Bookkeeping
·Possess an understanding of payroll, VAT & personal tax
SALARY - Negotiable Dependent on Experience
REQUIREMENTS
·ACA / ACCA Qualified or QBE
·Ideally 5 years previous practice experience minimum
·IRIS, Sage & Xero
