WHAT TO EXPECT
The purpose of this role is to provide proactive business partnering and high-quality finance solutions to the Solihull Manufacturing team. This is an opportunity to get up close to the MLA and D7a products and support and drive the delivery of the strategic business objectives for these vehicle lines.
As the Finance Business Partner Snr Analyst - Manufacturing Solihull, you'll be responsible for:
• Support Plant Leadership with the identification and achievement of short and medium-term strategic objectives through proactive Finance Business Partnering and impactful data
• Driving Bridge Plan efficiencies through use of data and the engagement and robust challenge of key operational partners
• Lead cost reviews with operational teams, using data to help drive performance and identify opportunities for efficiencies
• Regular contact with the wider Manufacturing finance team to share best practice and ideas, including how to optimise our effectiveness as business partners, and to support delivery of our FY23 priorities workstreams
• Calculate finance sensitivities, understanding key value levers and use financial analytics to assess proposals and business cases and to identify opportunities to improve business performance
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Essential:
• Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner role gained at a similar level
• Proven strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and nurture relationships with operational business partners
• Strong numerical, analytical skills supported by communication and presentation skills - used to translate financial issues for operational teams
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement mind set with the ability to identify and implement solutions and enhancements
• Strong IT skills and a desire to expand on existing reporting skillset - including through the use of Tableau
• Ability to maintain a flexible attitude to workload, whilst working accurately at speed
• Confidence to question and challenge the status quo
Desirable:
• Sound financial and commercial business insight shown through evidence of developing, introducing new or innovative practices/processes in support of strategic business goals
• A sound Analytical background
