Senior Regulatory Tax Officer

In the role of a Senior Regulatory Tax Officer you will be reviewing the ongoing monitoring of MDR/DAC6. Your tasks will include the preparation of guidance documentation within the DAC6 regulations and report arrangement to the Dutch tax authorities. Job Purpose

As a Senior Regulatory Tax Officer you will be part of a team that manages some of TMF’s major clients. In your role you will prepare and review appropriate arrangements for each impacted product and you are able to maintain and develop relationships with domestic and foreign advisors and shareholders taking into account the existing procedures of TMF Group. You will be part of a dedicated client team and you have a delegated responsibility to keep the client files in good standing. You will be reporting to Tax Manager.

Your Profile

• University degree in Tax law (Dutch or International);
• Approximately 3-5 years relevant working experience;
• Practical knowledge of corporate law and regulations;
• Wants to develop broader than only in the MDR/DAC6 field;
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills;
• General interest in international financial/capital markets and financial instruments;
• Competencies: service-oriented, hands-on and pro-active, good organisational skills, willing to help others when needed, accurate; able to meet tight deadlines and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and review ongoing DAC6 monitoring of client companies in close co-operation with the client, law firms and tax firms;
• Analysis and preparing of guidance documentation within DAC6 regulations;
• Report arrangements to the Dutch tax authorities;
• Signal any DAC6 transaction and liaise with the client and/or advisors;
• Attend and, depending on experience, partly independently carry out meetings with clients and consultants;
• Update and maintain the client portfolio in good standing and comply with the rules and regulations and/or related legislation.
