Financial Operations Manager

Our client, an iGaming casino startup, is looking for a Financial Operations Manager to join their team and help set up and grow the Accounting & Finance function.

Reporting to the CFO, 

Job duties include:

• Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the team and supervise and monitor the work of the team;
• Compiling accurate, timely financial and management reporting for the monthly and yearly closing process including keeping deadlines with the Group’s financial plan;
• Establish new banking relationships and manage the Group’s banking relationship
  including day to day banking administration;
• Monitor funds and review and evaluate cash flow, income, and expenses within the group to identify optimisation opportunities and responsible for the allocation of
  payments;
• Review and validate banks, PSPs, e-wallets and crypto exchanges engaged by the Group;
• Review the VAT returns and annual tax returns, coordinate and produce all tax
  documentation as required and submit with the respective tax authorities;
• Liaise with the appointed external auditor and provide the necessary information to ensure the annual statutory audit is completed within the stipulated time frame and submitted to the authorities as required and responsible for the preparation of the financial statements of the group entities;
• Set up the accounting policies, ensuring full transparency over the financial performance of the entities and help improve processes and existing reporting tools where necessary;
• Develop and maintain adequate internal controls to safeguard the Group’s assets and to ensure the internal and external financial reporting is true and fair;
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the Group

Experience:

• Certified and Qualified Accountant (Bachelor degree in Accountancy, ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in iGaming and having experience in Crypto is an assetExperience in direct staff management would be extremely beneficial, with strong ability to engage colleagues
• Expert knowledge of accounting procedures and accounting standards
• Excellent command in written and spoken English is essential
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated, structured and thrive in giving a high degree of service
