Finance Manager responsible for all day-to-day financial operations within the School's finance office including Payroll.

Description
- You will be responsible handling reports on the School's finance accounting, including order placement, invoice production, monthly bank and control account reconciliations, and financial management system management.
- Production of a monthly set of management accounts compared to budgets, as well as financial reporting and analysis as requested by the Bursar and Governors.
- Handle fee collection and credit control procedures, including parent communication as needed.
- Manage all deposit issues, including deposit requests from prospective parents and deposit refunds from leavers.
- Create cash flow estimates and ensure that budgets are accurately recorded in financial management systems.
- Responsible for timely completion and management of the School's Payroll, which includes payslips, annual statutory reports, pensions, benefits in kind, sick pay, holiday pay, parental leave pay.
- In charge of purchasing orders, including examining stock requisition forms, and keeping track of resources acquired, delivered, and invoiced.
Profile
- Fully ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA qualified with understanding of the Education sector.
- Good interpersonal skills and the confidence to communicate effectively with all colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.
- Excellent ICT skills including experience of Excel, databases/information management systems, and managing payroll and pension administration.
- Willingness to take responsibility for job role and to be hands-on.
Job Offer
- £45,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience.
- 28 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays.
