The Voiceover Gallery has studios in both London and Manchester and works with voices & studios all over the globe. The team have backgrounds in TV production, translation, radio and talent management.
The job description
The Finance Manager will efficiently and accurately oversee the financial management of the business. liaising with the Senior Management Team to assume a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations of the company. Duties will include the full spectrum of finance operations, including budgeting and forecasting, purchase and sales ledger, cash flow management, credit control and query resolution
The responsibilities
Improve efficiencies and reduce company costs
Put in place robust financial systems and processes
Prepare reports for monthly management accounts
Manage ongoing day to day financial operations such as payroll, invoicing, cash flow, payments and other transactions
Complete VAT returns
Review spending against budget, with individual departments
Reconcile balance sheets providing insightful information and reports to senior management to aid long-term and short-term decision making
Manage all email correspondence from clients and suppliers regarding payments to and from the business
Preparing weekly payment run
General bookkeeping
Ideal skills / qualifications
High level knowledge and experience of Xero
Working knowledge of SalesForce
Part of fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Committed, enthusiastic and able to use initiative to drive the business forward
Highly organised and capable of managing a diverse list of tasks
