Accounting Officer (AP) - MNC Aviation (Up to 22k)

Client Details

Our client is a well-known MNC aviation company focusing on private jet rental and aircraft maintenance. With over 750 employees and different offices in the APAC area, our client is now seeking a potential candidate to cope with their business expansion in the future.

Description

• Provide daily accounting support including processing of vendor's invoices, cheques, payment and receipts, journal voucher and general ledger
• Resolve disputed invoices via collaboration with external parties and internal teams
• Ensure timely processing of payments and claims and manage all bank & cash operations
• Prepare accounting reports, including but not limited to forecast, statistical report and other reports as required by the management
• Accountable for resolving accounting and operational matters connected with project management and client's request
• Follow up the overdue accounts
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing & reporting
• Assist in external audit
• Recommend any process improvement opportunities for efficiency, control & compliance enhancement
• Any ad hoc assignments as deemed necessary from direct manager

Profile

• Degree holder or above in accounting or relevant disciplines
• Min 2 year of accounting experience in a commercial firm; audit experience is a plus
• Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills and knowledgeable in SAP is preferable
• Able to communicate in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Mature, independent, and able to work with minimum supervision
• Take initiative to report the progress and proactively suggest ways of improvement
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
