Job Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions which encompass but not limited to treasury, financial analysis, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, costing, taxation, income tax, SST, cash flow management, etc. to support the business activities.
- To ensure timely preparation and submission of the monthly financial reports, quarterly reports and other ad-hoc financial reports as and when required.
- To review, develop and improve accounting and internal control systems to ensure efficiency.
- To ensure all accounting activities comply with relevant statutory Acts, accounting standards, legal and tax requirements.
- To recommend improvement on the information system process and liaise with IT on the system requirements to raise/set up necessary controls within the system.
- To oversee and carry out general administration function and duties.
- To provide regular cost reduction analysis.
- To follow up with all internal and external audit findings.
- To ensure that overall finance activities are carried out professionally, ethically and in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or Finance and/or Professional Qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.
- A member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant working experience in related industry.
- Good working knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office and Accounting operating systems and software such as IFCA would be added advantage.
- High result achievers who are analytical, independent and resourceful
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Position: based in Ipoh.
