Our client is an established MNC with over 50 years of experience in the offshore marine industry. As part of their plan to aggressive growth in Asia, they are now looking for a hands-on individual to join them as a GL Accountant.
about the job
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of GL activities including the preparation of month end reports, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation. In addition you will also help to drive operational excellence and governance while supporting the manager in any ad-hoc duties.
skills and experience required
You should ideally be diploma/degree qualified with at least 3 years of relevant experience in GL Accounting. Having prior knowledge of the SAP system would be advantageous. The ideal candidate is one who is independent, comfortable working in a fast paced environment and possesses strong communication skills. You are comfortable with a contract position for 1 year that is renewable or convertible to full time with an established MNC.
