We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Manager to join the Expedia Group Finance Team. In this role you will provide financial management support and partner with leaders throughout EG. You will be a catalyst in influencing the strategic decisions across the business. We have the follow opportunities available:

Traveler and Partner Support Platform - Compensation & Loss: Partner with and support operational management team responsible for implementation and oversight of customer service policies designed to provide exceptional service to our travelers and supply partners while maximizing value for Expedia. This is an exciting area of innovation as Expedia works to support travelers in their journeys in new ways and our business partners look to us to help assess costs, financial viability, and value creation across our business. This role performs general finance tasks and also dives deep into business processes and data to provide insights and recommendations to decision makers

Traveler and Partner Support Platform – Lodging: Partner with Operational teams servicing and assisting EG’s Lodging Traveller and Supply Partner, ensuring world class service and efficient operations to improve Traveller and Supply Partner experiences on the EG platform. This role will maintain and evolve financial models (highlighting key risks and opportunities), identify efficiencies, process improvements, and assess data integrity to provide recommendations and support the decision-making process

What you'll do:

  • Partner across EG to develop a deep understanding of business levers and find opportunities to drive value into the organization
  • Distill complex financial data into impactful insights; build financial models, analyze latest trends and initiatives, and perform ad-hoc modeling as required
  • Develop financial business cases to support investment decisions
  • Drive process improvement through effective business partnering across the organization
  • In-depth analysis and benchmarking of our portfolio of brands, the products we sell, and the marketing channels customers engage in as well as the external competitive landscape
  • Responsible for forecast/outlook for a specific Brand(s) or EG-wide, including identifying and analyzing risks and opportunities
  • Evaluate financial performance for Outlook/Forecasts as well as actual results providing actionable insights
  • Lead a variety of projects to simplify and automate current processes

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Elevated level of intellectual curiosity that drives sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management
  • Advanced analytic, modeling, forecasting, and presentation skills
  • Results driven and highly motivated, with the ability to think big and small
  • Able to lead and influence decisions across various internal functions
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Oracle and Hyperion

Seattle: The total cash range for this position is $104,000 to $145,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $166,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
