An outstanding opportunity to join us as a Head of Audit – Cyber Security & Operational Resilience within our cutting-edge audit function, where you will be responsible for developing and overseeing delivery of Internal Audit’s coverage of Cyber Security & Operational Resilience considering the bank’s strategy, top risks, changes in the regulatory landscape and emerging trends. You will collaborate with peers on the senior leadership team with differing expertise to develop broad insightful perspectives as well as conduct industry read-across on best-practices. This role demands trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, External Audit and Regulators, where you will use your independence and influencing skills to support the improvement of the Bank’s risk and control environment. As part of the team, you will be responsible to build a high-performing global team by coaching and mentoring and increasing subject matter knowledge in your field.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for:

  • Deep understanding of practices, threat landscape, industry issues, regulatory requirements and directions, risk and control matters in the field of Cyber Security & Operational Resilience. Experience in auditing or substantial exposure to Internal Audit would be an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of controls around cyber security, data and asset protection, malware, network segmentation, cloud, IT Risk Governance, and emerging technologies. CISA, CISSP or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
  • Well-connected amongst professionals and peers in the cyber security and technology risk space, enabling effective horizon scanning and benchmarking.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English with an ability to deliver difficult messages and present information in a succinct and concise way.
  • An agile mind-set, proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and changing priorities to deliver effectively towards deadlines, and under pressure.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and people leadership skills which set an inspiring “tone from the top” within Internal Audit, but also key stakeholder groups within the Technology organization of the bank.
