The role is highly visible with opportunities to work with senior partners both across the business and at the COO /CFO level in both London and NY and will encompass a mix of analysis, project management, reporting and strategy.
- Various daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for IBCM and the Investment Bank senior management
- Responsibilities include, but not limited to: assisting with financial forecasting & analysis focusing to support managerial decisions / business strategy, assisting senior management with regulatory compliance deliverables, completing a broad range of ad-hoc projects and strategic business initiatives, along with detailed analysis of financials to help drive the businesses’ strategic plan
- These responsibilities require a basic understanding of general accounting concepts, financial markets and investment banking products (knowledge of business specific products and markets a plus)
- Support Senior Management by designing, implementing and producing valuable financial management reports including:
- Synthesizing significant volume of information to help analyze and implement key critical initiatives and projects for the IBCM business
- Revenue and desk performance analysis, including assisting with market updates of complex trading and banking themes across sectors
- Support senior management with creating, implementing and running the financial forecast & planning process in close collaboration with departmental teams and with a wide range of senior partners

Your skills and experienceWe are looking for highly motivated applicants with excellent attention to detail, comfortable prioritizing multiple assignments at once, and an excellent sense of accountability. The candidate should also possess highly developed analytical, interpersonal and communication skills to enable them to build links with key internal clients and complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
Each of the following qualifications / skills and experience are preferred, but not required:- Proven 3-5 years of work experience in financial services, preferably within a major Investment Bank or financial institution but open to excellent candidates outside of this time horizon
- Proficient numerical / accountancy literacy, background in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred
- Driven, tenacious demeanor that is a goal oriented, focused individual
- Able to work in fast paced environment (specifically turning around deliverables under tight timelines)
- Capacity to prioritize multiple matters and challenges at a time while working both individually and in a team setting
- Proven ability to partner with distributed teams across multiple offices and understand regional complexities
- Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel

The salary range, if this role is being hired in New York City, is $120k -$190k annually, based on various factors such as experience, education, skills, internal and external market data, etc.
