Location and flexible working: This is a hybrid role that could be based in either our Wythall or Edinburgh offices. We recognise the benefits of flexible working and will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.


Salary and benefits: £60,000 - £80,000 plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role


As a Resource Manager you will work as part of the Finance Resource Management team to provide support into the business areas of Finance to help manage our peoples' workload and work life balance through more efficiently and strategically coordinating and managing the resources of the department.

This will include supporting the Finance managers to identify and secure the resources for all Change Activity that requires Finance resources whilst ensuring the resources for BAU Finance activities are protected.

What are we looking for?


You will have proven resource management experience, ideally within a professional services environment. You will have experience of working in a Resourcing role and be able to demonstrate your ability as a trusted advisor who provides balanced, pragmatic advice. You must be robust, resilient and agile with a track record of driving change as well as being able to demonstrate problem solving through innovative thinking. An ability to liaise, influence, challenge effectively and build relationships at all levels is key. Experience of conflict resolution, with the ability to manage complex conflicts between numerous parties, including senior stakeholders would be an advantage. You should be a logical thinker with strategic and pragmatic analytical skills.
