Description

• Involves in the preparation of investment & project paper for contract renewal or new contract for approval for the assigned new transport opportunities or investment.
• Oversees overall Thailand transport performance and perform variance or gap analysis
• Performs month-end closing performance review and monitors profitability of assigned products/projects i.e. transport networks. If needed will conduct drilldown investigation into operation such as productivity analysis, scope creep identification, budget gap analysis, etc.
• Central transport overheads control
• Reviews and involves in process of customer commercial negotiation and contract legal terms on some assigned transport accounts.
• Monitors company policies, standards and processes ensuring financial reports are in accordance with local generally accepted accounting principle and IFRS.
• Ensures compliance with corporate guidelines, procedures and standards
• Prepares and monitors - on a monthly basis - assigned project activities, expenses and compares with the budget and the forecast, analysing the variances and proposing the appropriate solutions to address any issues
• Implement internal controls and processes within the operational sites

Profile

• Minimum 10 years of post-grad experience in Accounting or Finance with at least 8 years at a managerial level.
• Some experience in Supply Chain Management / Transport Business would be a plus
• Commercial exposure / experience in a sizable, well-established organization
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, activities and projects
• Ability to travel within Bangkok surroundings and upcountry
