Senior Financial Analyst ( Investment) - Dubai

1. Create forecasts of future business conditions using multiple scenarios
2. Review and recommend different types of investments based on risk and return analysis
3. Stay abreast of developments in those industries in which the company operates and prepare and periodically update an analysis of the industries in which the company operates
4. Prepare and update a competitor analysis
5. Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, and apply them.
6. Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested
7. Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules and prepare journal entries related to assigned functional responsibilities.
8. Analyze data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed and create PowerPoint presentations summarizing the results of analyses and present the results to senior management
9. Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all of the Finance during the planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review.
10. Describe an insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business area partners and management to drive business results.
11. Investigate and report to the Manager any inconsistencies or improprieties.
12. Understand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business leadership to drive business decision making across the company.
13. Identify non-value added processes within the department and seeks solutions.
