About The Role

We are looking for a Financial Controller - Strategic Pricing to join our team in Naas. This key role will be the primary point of contact for Kerry’s Applied Health & Nutrition (AH&N) Budget/Projection within the Europe Finance Structure.

The Finance Controller – Strategic Pricing will understand the key assumptions, aligning with Business Unit Finance Directors on the output and highlighting risks and opportunities back to the AH&N Technologies.

Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy, candidates will be required to work from our offices in Naas each week.

What will I be doing?

  • Primary linkage point between the Business Unit Teams and Applied Health & Nutrition (AH&N) in relation to the mass pricing technology strategies and technology margin reviews. Co-ordinating the approach across the AH&N Technologies.
  • Ensure a clear Pricing and Margin Management strategy for the ETS (Emulsifiers and Texturant Systems) Business, incorporating external insights while ensuring alignment to the business strategy
  • Pricing responsibility for the ETS business strategic customers and quotes
  • Manage the Quarterly Pricing process for the ETS business unit
  • Support the Commercial Teams with ongoing and commercial negotiations
  • Effectively manage key business stakeholders and provide ETS Technology support where required
  • Responsible for the preparation and tracking of pricing performance against the pricing budget
  • Work with the Risk & Margin Management lead to effectively manage commodity and FX risk
  • Become an integral member of the Pricing team and provide support within the team where required

What do I need to be successful?

In Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success in a similar role and environment.

These include:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA qualified with relevant commercial experience within the Food industry
  • Knowledge of SAP (SRM and ECC) an advantage
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Planning and organizational skills with a clear focus on meeting key deliverables
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within teams and with senior stakeholders
  • Analytical and numerate with an ability to undertake a wide range of activities.
