Management Accountant

I am working with a outstanding company who are investing heavily and are growing rapidly. They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for implementing the processes and procedures to ensure accurate accounts are published to the wider group company.

Client Details

The client is experiencing a growth phase within their business due to the release of several new product lines and a shift in focus onto the UK business. The client is based close to Cardiff and is easily accessible by car, from Newport, Cwmbran and Bristol.

Description

As a Management Accountant you would be involved in:

• Prepare reports for Weekly Build/Sales Meeting and assist with forecasting
• Prepare and process month end journals
• Assist in the monthly actuals reporting
• Assist in preparation of month-end, half-year and year-end reporting required by Head Office
• Report on monthly actuals
• Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets
• Assist in the investigation and analysis of financial and commercial data as requested
• Prepare monthly recharges and reconciliation of loan and advances account
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconcilations for review
• Daily posting of cashbook entries and weekly bank reconcilations
• Assist in the preparation of tax packs and PSA analysis
• Raise invoices, manage cash collection & maintain the Sales Ledger

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Experience of financial accounting
• Experience of working in a busy environment, providing accounting/reporting services to tight deadlines
• Worked independently to prepare monthly reports and analysis
• Competent using ERP systems such as Oracle/SAP/Sage

Job Offer

The successful candidate for the Management Accountant role:

• Be Based close to Cardiff
• Receive £30,000 -£40,000 Per annum
• Generous Holiday and Pension
