We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Banking Associate in o ur Banking & Treasury team.
In this interesting role you would be responsible for performing the daily Treasury operations of Phoenix Life In addition, you will be a point of contact for both and internal stakeholders for banking, liquidity, payment queries and preparation of Management Information.
Key to the role is to ensure that deadlines are adhered to in accordance with Group Risk and Control Standards and best banking practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete the day-to-day operations, including: funding, payments and associated admin, MI, journals, reconciliations, mailbox queries and post.
- Ensure work is prepared to a high standard; working papers, journals and reconciliations are completed with a clear audit trail and supporting documentation.
- Produce MI showing quarterly bank credit ratings and their relationship status within Phoenix.
- Produce Liquidity MI to monitor daily liquidity levels, ensuring each account is within its limits.
- Support the Senior Treasury Assistant and Assistant Treasury Controller to ensure that team deliverables are met in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators are recorded for analysis.
- Assist with the maintenance of up-to-date procedural documentation for the tasks within the department.

What We're Looking For
- Experience of working within a complex and highly regulated financial services environment.
- Good organisational and time management skills including the ability to work under pressure to meet often conflicting and immovable banking deadlines.
- Good analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of double entry book keeping.
