Horwath HTL (UK) is a business unit that works closely with investors, owners and operators to support and shape investment strategies that deliver maximum value from their HTL interests.

Role Summary

Horwath HTL (UK), is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our growing team as a Senior Consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Project management and coordination project team members.
  • Preparation of high-quality client proposals;
  • Advisory report drafting for HTL business planning, feasibility analysis and transaction due diligence;
  • Developing financial models to support advisory assignments (M&A, IPO, asset developments, assets under operation, etc.) under varying capital structures;
  • Corporate, portfolio, and asset-level valuation analysis;
  • Preparation of topical research papers and Thought Leadership;
  • Representing HHTL at industry events in the UK;
  • Participation in operator searches and negotiation of operating agreements including hotel leases, management agreements and franchises.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills facilitating key client and stakeholder management;
  • Collegial and team-oriented;
  • Calm and focused under pressure and tight timelines;
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to manage competing priorities and projects;
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently to a high standard;
  • Hotels and leisure sector experience;
  • Advanced MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook required.

 Professional Qualifications

  • The desired candidate should have a relevant degree, experience in UK hotel real estate with exposure to hotel consulting & valuations.
  • Ability to work independently and being able to manage and complete assignments with little support and supervision.
  • Candidates will ideally have a strong knowledge of the UK hotel marketplace and a credible professional reputation and network.
  • The ideal candidate needs to be a strong communicator and networker with a pro-active business development approach.
  • Fluency in English is a must; all other languages are advantageous.
  • Based in London, however the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work throughout the UK
