Description

Accounting and Regulatory Policy (Policy) is a global function within Finance which supports Morgan Stanley to achieve its business goals by providing independent advisory and review services in relation to matters of Accounting and Basel-based Regulation for a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. As a result of this focus, Policy plays a key role in client advisory activities and major Firm projects, helping to shape and influence the future strategy of the Firm.

Following a recent expansion of team scope and responsibilities, a Director (AVP/Manager equivalent) opportunity has arisen within the Glasgow Policy team, which operates as a centre of excellence for the global Policy team. The role will specifically focus on Accounting Policy, providing the opportunity to be at the forefront of developments in accounting impacting entities reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), US GAAP and UK GAAP.
