Commercial Finance Lead

Working as a Finance Business Lead, You'll be responsible for partnering with the Country GM, channel commercial leaders, marketing team, business divisions in the region (Business groups), and external customers to ensure financial and business plans link with the strategic goals while at the same time recommend strategies for maximizing profit and delivering gross margin performance.

This organsiation produces high-end industrial solutions that used in commercial and industrial construction. The business is multi-facted, as they provide product, installation and servicing to their clientele. Originally hailing from Europe this organisation has expanded rapidly throughout APAC in the last 10 years.

Description

The objectives of the role will include, but not be limited to the following

• Co-manage the business, support, and guide strategic and tactical decisions by means of sound business analysis
• Provide advice on the financial implications of business activities and take accountability for reviewing financial business cases on investments and resource allocation (e.g., marketing programs, R&D expenses, capex)
• Co-manage the outcome of financial planning processes (Target setting, quarterly forecast), working closely with business management to optimize value drivers and manage risk
• Monitor the financial position of the business. Identify risks and opportunities to current financial projections and take corrective actions where needed
• Connect with the Financial Controller on any Accounting Operations topics and where appropriate, ensure input is provided to ensure completeness of External, Statutory reporting and Tax requirements.

Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in different streams of Finance function, with minimum 5 years' experience as Finance Business Partner role
• Should demonstrate strong financial acumen, skill to steer business in RUPT world, able to influence decision in a matrix organization, and able to think strategically.
• Experience in Handing B2C: Modern Retail, Traditional Trade and B2B including B2G project business finance will be an added advantage
• Need to have strong "Customer First" approach
• Certified Public Accountant and, Or MBA Finance and, or master's degree in finance.
• Great communication and presentation skills both in English and local language - Vietnamese (advantage)
