We're currently looking for a Business Development Executive on a full time permanent basis. This position sits within the Employer Relationships team, in our Singapore office.
The job
Reporting to the Country Manager, ACCA Singapore on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:
- Supporting the Country Managers in developing commercial relationships with employers, recruitment and government agencies which build ACCA's brand and reputation, deepen our engagement and further ACCA's strategic and growth objectives.
Supports other BDMs and colleagues in other functions in managing existing partner relationships and developing new business opportunities.
Manages an allocation of straightforward and/or lower value relationships, delivering against agreed KPIs and targets. Identifies and highlights higher value opportunities for Country Manager and BDM to follow up
Supports the Country Manager and other BDMs to deliver on follow up actions from partner meetings, working with appropriate teams as required
Manages incoming queries and leads, allocating to the Country Manager or a BDM for follow up or progressing as appropriate
Supports with the preparation of proposals and pitches and delivers sales presentations as appropriate
Supports the Country Manager and other BDMs to deliver a high quality customer experience by acting as a point of contact for partners
Working with the appropriate teams, provides guidance and support to partners on ACCA processes and products including accreditation
Attends and represents ACCA at industry and sector events as required
Coordinates and manages the successful delivery of face to face events as agreed, leveraging global content to support the achievement of market objectives
Supports the Country Manager and other BDMs in researching employers, competitors and the wider market
Monitors CRM activity and supports colleagues to ensure the team maintains usage and that records are up to date
Prepares weekly/monthly and ad hoc reporting as required
Carries out team administrative procedures for example purchase requisitions etc.
Actively supports the wider work of the local market and contributes to the improvement of local procedures and systems
The person
We're looking for someone who has:
A qualification (diploma or degree) in business, accounting, finance, marketing and/or relevant work experience preferred
Exposure to business development and business-to-business selling, ideally in a professional service or education environment
Some knowledge of business development frameworks, processes and techniques
An interest in accountancy related issues - a finance background would be an advantage
An interest in the education, skills & careers landscape
Effective interpersonal skills with the potential to build long term, high quality, trusted relationships with external contacts
Confident communicator with good presentation skills, both written and oral
Motivated, proactive and enthusiastic with the ability to work independently
Structured and organised with the ability to plan and manage own workload
Commercially orientated and results driven with a track record of successful delivery
