Our client is a well established c. £50 million turnover business in Grantham. The business is growing, as it is receiving more investments and winning new business.
Description
This is a newly created position due to the business winning new business. You will be reporting into the Senior Financial Controller, and will be assisting in financial data analysis, preparing and presenting reports to key stakeholders and business partnering financial and non financial stakeholders. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Prepare regular financial reports and assist in the presentation of reports to managers and executives
- Creation, preparation, and presentation of key financial data to assist with all stakeholders, including business partnering to assist in business growth, contract management and financial decision making.
- Assist in the financial analysis for decision-making, including project appraisal and evaluation
- Ongoing review of cash flow, providing detailed reports.
- Create efficient and effective methods for tracking financial data
- Use spreadsheets and sophisticated calculation software to gather and record financial information.
- Assist in the audit process by providing information and data as requested
- Analyse financial information for trends and errors
- Find solutions to discrepancies by working with other employees and correcting any erroneous information or calculations
- Carry out slow moving stock analysis & MER Reports
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
Profile
To apply for this position, you will:
- Be studying an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or AAT) or be qualified by experience
- Have a proven track record of working in finance
- Have experience of working in financial analysis
- Have strong excel skills
