Accountant - Full Set (Up to 30K)

Client Details

Our client a UK based education company. They are a service provider for integrated education systems and a leader in their industry working with over 10,000 schools globally. To cope with the increase in operations, they are looking for an Accountant with experience in handling full-set of accounts to join their team.

Description

• Handle daily AR and AP, including journal entries, ageing reports, invoices, and payments
• Handle full set of accounts and prepare accounting schedules
• Perform month-end closing activities and prepare annual financial statements
• Calculate monthly cash-flow, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets
• Participate in monthly consolidation of accounts and provide variance analysis
• Liaise with external auditors on statutory audits, tax returns
• Support in ad-hoc projects as required

Profile

• Degree in Accounting or other related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in handling full-set of account (UK entities will be a plus)
• Student member or qualified accountant will be advantageous
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently, self motivated, and well organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge in Xero is a plus
