As the Assistant Accountant, you will play an integral role in delivery of high quality monthly and annual financial reports under tight time frames. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a proven ability to support senior accountants and the finance team.

Description
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting in the management of cash flow and bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Assisting in the preparation of tax returns
- Providing support to the finance team as required
- Assist in preparing annual FBT return for review before submission
- Maintain fixed asset register, process asset capitalisation and disposal transactions
- Prepare monthly sustainability report
- Prepare monthly project reporting
Profile
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Strong MS Excel capabilities. (pivot tables, power pivots, power query)
- CPA/CA qualification or undertaking.
- Construction experience desirable.
- Great communication skills.
- 3 years+ experience in similar roles.
