Description
As the Finance Manager/Controller, your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, such as managing the month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, audit, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, and trust account statement reconciliations.
You will be responsible for creating, monitoring, and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements, which will be presented to the leadership team along with your recommendations. You will establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles, and will work to improve our current accounting systems and procedures, initiating controls to ensure their effectiveness.
As part of your role, you will coordinate with auditors and financial advisors, creating regular financial reports to analyze performance and identify opportunities to improve business. You will manage tax payments and reporting requirements to authorities and regulatory bodies, including the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Security and Exchange Commission. Additionally, you will implement appropriate policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of our finances and conduct competitive and cost engineering activities.
Profile
We are seeking highly organized, passionate, and self-motivated individuals to join our team and manage our Finance Department. The ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA license is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Manager or Supervisor in highly transactional industries such as FMCG, with comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of accounting.
- Demonstrated expertise in bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Proficient in financial reporting standards and practices.
