What You Will Do:
Within the Johnson Controls' Global Products business unit, the Global Operations supply chain organization is responsible for more than 90 manufacturing plants and distribution centres which have over $900 million of annual freight and warehouse spending.
Within Global Operations, this role supports the Europe and Mid-East Logistic and Distribution (L&D) organization by providing informative, and timely financial analysis on monthly performance, forward looking budgets and forecasts, and operational initiatives. We are seeking a Finance Manager to be a key part of the regional management team by ensuring a strong linkage and understand between the operational metrics and their financial impacts for 3 primary and 6 secondary distribution centres with ~$25 million of annual conversion cost as well as ~$60 million of freight spending within the EMEA region.

We are seeking a Finance Manager to be a key part of the regional management team by ensuring a strong linkage and understand between the operational metrics and their financial impacts for 3 primary and 6 secondary distribution centres with ~$25 million of annual conversion cost as well as ~$60 million of freight spending within the EMEA region.
How You Will Do It:
- Leads the development of regional L&D plan and forecasts, ensuring integrity of numbers submitted, supporting assumptions, and alignment to enterprise objectives, ensuring communication with partners.
- Prepares in-depth financial and operational analysis of regional L&D financial results, completing financial bridges on actual to plan, forecast, and prior year while ensuring accuracy and quality of data.
- Supports a strong controls and governance environment, assisting with audits, identifying gaps and conducting balance sheet reviews.
- Provides financial oversight to the cycle count processes, partner with site leaders to organize and coordinate the annual physical inventory counts where necessary
- Provides financial leadership on cross functional projects. Project will include: L&D locations and optimizing distribution points, inventory levels, and transportation
- Deployment of freight audit & pay processes
- Development of capital expenditure investments requests, reporting of spending, and validation of savings achievement
What We Look For:
- Proven experience in finance department of a large multi-national company
- Educated to degree level, ideally in accounting/finance or with accounting certification.
- Pro-active with Continuous improvement mentality. Ability to communicate and inspire change.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, problem solving skills
- Be able to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues and to build strong working relationships with both the operations and finance teams
- Individual PC skills, particularly Excel/Power Point and ideally with HFM/OneStream/Oracle/SAP
