Payroll & Accounting Assistant - US Listed Telecom Company

Client Details

Our client is a well-known US listed Telecommunication company with business all over the world. They are now seeking for a payroll expert to join their team as they are having expansion in APAC with their business in the coming years.

Description

• Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of monthly financial reporting. Preparation of standard financial and operational functions
• Ensure compliance with various statutory and tax regulations
• Processing of APJ region monthly payroll and collaborating with outsourced payroll vendors
• Co-ordinate with treasury and AP team to ensure payment are processed in a timely manner
• Handle the accounting for payroll and reconciliation of payroll accounts
• Adheres to company defined control procedures and prepares document under audit review
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management

Profile

• Degree holder
• Minimum 1 year of APAC regional experience with MNC with hands on experience in payroll
• Well-organized and conscientious with a high level of initiatives at work and able to meet tight working deadline
• Good command in English and Mandarin
• Experience in preparing journal entries, payroll reconciliation, working in Accounting operations (ie: AP, Treasury)
• Experience in using payroll software is preferred
• Experience in using HR management software is preferred
