Your contribution to something big:
As part of Purchasing Quality Assurance team, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the business growth of Bosch Thermotechnology in Aveiro Plant, where we manufacture a wide range of residential water heaters, boilers and heat pumps.
Our team is the partner of the value streams to assure the quality of supplied parts, and the first line of contact with our worldwide supplier base. We work in close collaboration with quality, process engineering and production teams, for quality issues with purchased parts.
The main responsibility on this internship lies in supporting the Purchasing Quality Assurance team located in Aveiro, in establishing close cooperation between the in-house available knowledge, our worldwide network of Quality Experts and our external suppliers.

Here are some of the areas where you will be able to actively support the team, and learn from it:
- Support problem solving activities with suppliers in case of Quality incidents with purchased parts coming from production line, field and incoming inspection;
- Analyze Q-incidents (e.g. by measuring/testing parts), start claim reports and follow-up towards the supplier;
- Support on Internal containment actions, discussion of root cause analysis and corrective actions with suppliers;
- Support on the incoming quality inspection activities developing your metrology skills;
- Support on the implementation of continuous improvement activities, KPI monitoring and reporting, and SAP related tasks;
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Technical Degree as Engineer (preferable in technical areas as Mechanical, Electric, Materials, Chemistry).
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint);
- Structured and Analytical way of working, results-oriented mindset and proactive attitude;
- Ability to work in an international team environment;
- Good writing and speaking skills in English and Portuguese.
