As an Indirect Tax Manager you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and securing timely indirect tax compliance for entities located across EUCAN and GEM countries working closely with Global Tax
• Effective management team of Tax Specialists and Senior Tax Specialists
• Verifying, communicating and implementing tax legislative changes within the region
• Proactive approach towards improving and automation of tax processes
• Building relationships and trust through challenging the status quo

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working in Accounting/ Tax experience ideally gained in a shared services environment within a large multi-national organization
• Proven tax knowledge and practical experience of direct and indirect tax processes
• 1-3 years people management/leadership experience
• Strong technical and finance skills
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Audit / SOX / process controls experience
• Proficiency in English language, verbal and written

Preferred qualifications:

• Improvement-oriented mindset (focused on such techniques as Lean/Kaizen)
• ERP experience, SAP experience and Excel skills
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
• Other European languages
