Job Description & Summary

A career in Administration and Secretarial Services, within Internal Firm Services, will give you with the opportunity to provide administrative support to PwC employees. You’ll focus on using business software applications to prepare reports, receiving and directing incoming calls or emails to the appropriate parties, arranging business travel, tracking expenses, and coordinating meeting arrangements.

As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
  • Provide professional administrative support.
  • Act as a liaison between Central Procurement Assist (CPA) Key Buyers, Budget Owners (requesters) and Finance Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Independently complete a variety of assigned tasks to meet set goals - tasks are performed under general supervision and/ or established guidelines.
  • Continuously apply procurement knowledge and skills to execute tasks to the highest quality (incl. getting the best deal).
  • Adapt and perform all tasks relevant to the current business needs, and when needed, will work in a team environment to complete tasks.
  • Backup for peers and perform their scope when needed, including the Central Events Assist (CEA) team.
  • Negotiate with vendors/ suppliers for best deals to meet clients’ requirements
  • Organise and safekeep documentation via vendor management platforms/ tools, maintain current vendor profiles, in accordance with SOP/ process flows.
  • Process Third Party Vendor/ Supplier on-boarding process in accordance with SOP/ process flows.
  • Able to guide others on vendor on-boarding matters
  • Research support and information gathering to keep catalogue of suppliers current and relevant, including support and tender/ Request for Proposal (RFP) process
  • Presentation slides, proposals and client deliverables coordination
  • General administrative tasks relating to scope of work.

Preferred Skills

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Business Administration/ Events Management
  • Degree in any field
  • Diploma in Events Management/ Business Administration (or equivalent)/ Supply Chain Management (Sustainability)
  • At least 1 to 3 years of experience full time in a procurement/ procurement related scope, with one or more of the qualifications listed in the skills/ knowledge section above.
  • Preferably to have worked in a multinational work environment
