Job Title Commercial Finance Analyst Job Description Are you looking for the next step in your Finance career where you can use your Analytical skills and experience? If so, then look no further, as we're searching for our next Commercial Finance Analyst to join the team.
Working within the Commercial Finance team, you will be responsible for assisting Finance Business Partners with cost analysis, headcount analysis and forecasting processes across General & Administration and Global reporting functions.
You will become a key cog in the delivery of timely month-end reporting and analysis, and critical financial planning processes. This role will provide the opportunity to work across many areas of finance and receive strong exposure to senior finance & functional leaders, representing a great platform for developing a career at Sage.
#LI-SW1 Key Responsibilities • Support Global and G&A Finance Business Partners through thorough analysis and understanding of our central costs and headcount, to develop data-driven insight;
• Support the delivery of month-end close for central functions in a materially accurate and timely manner;
• Drive continuous improvement in the forecast, planning and budgeting process, increasing the company's ability to deliver on central cost base targets;
• Deliver insight into the KPIs driving the central functions and understand how these lead to, and impact, financial outcomes;
• Drive standardization and automation of processes and analysis that are currently very manual, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function;
• Support development of business cases within the central functions and ultimately drive a ROI-minded culture.
• Support the wider Commercial Finance team in the delivery of ad-hoc projects that drive strategic outcomes.
Skills, Know-how and Experience
