Job Description

A key objective of the Business Architecture side of the FAIR (Financial Accounting, Infrastructure and Reporting) Team is to manage the delivery of large scale infrastructure programs and business process change management events to ensure accurate, complete and consistent data is readily available for both internal financial reporting and external regulatory reporting purposes, consumed by both LOB (Line of Business) stakeholders and corporate groups.

The Banking Book team deals with all aspects of traditional credit products such Loans, Deposits, Commitments, Cash, etc., and drives the product in the right direction; thereby creating a great user experience and complete consumable data required for several reporting needs.

As a member of the Banking Book Team, you will work closely with Line of Business stakeholders, data Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Consumers and technology teams across Finance, Credit Risk & Treasury and the various Program Management teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the entirety of Change Events/Releases across all the Data warehouses/Lakes, which comprises of both planned and ad hoc events.
  • Manage Stakeholder management across the entire change management lifecycle, including influencing, negotiation and expectation management.
  • Prioritization of changes from a consumer view point, working with the key decision makers /Product owners to achieve changes that improve the Completeness, accuracy , timeliness and overall Data quality of Banking Book Data
  • Documentation/ Tracking/Metrics of Banking book artifacts to continue to drive for better user experience for the Banking Book Product.
  • Execute testing activities (i.e.- Regression testing) to ensure no adverse risk is introduced to Production, and communicating issues, results and expectations with key stakeholders.
  • Program manage key initiatives and continue to influence modernization efforts.
  • Issue resolution and escalation of critical risks and Drive compliance of Release Management standards and operating model

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Project/Product/Change/Release management, Business analysis experience and/or process re-engineering required.
  • Proven experience in delivering large complex programs and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Solid understanding of Financial and/or Regulatory reporting processes; (understanding of Liquidity, Credit Reporting related data is a plus)
  • Knowledge and experience of traditional credit (Loans, Deposits, Cash)
  • Must be detail oriented, highly responsible and able to work with tight deadlines
  • Ability to lead and influence and build strong relationships with partner teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging to various audiences

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience with Agile delivery, the JIRA tool, SQL or JQL is a plus
  • Cloud knowledge and previous experience in Financial Services (Finance, Risk, or Operations) is a plus
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; sound judgment with a risk mindset
