Finance Operations Manager

About the job

  • Manage the company's finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and compliance with audit requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulators
  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to carry out their responsibilities effectively.


Skills and experience required

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in finance and accounting in the insurance industry
  • Proven track record of leading finance operations in a life insurance company
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Experience in finance process automation/RPA projects would be an added advantage
