The position will support Group CFO Office to drive finance function talent development priorities for the finance community across all markets, and to lead the planning & execution of strategic group-wide functional events.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead Finance Functional Development
Lead and drive finance functional development strategies and execute initiatives that contribute to achievement of Finance learning and development objectives and business priorities across all markets.
Work closely with Finance leaders and HR functions across Group Office and business units to ensure strategic alignment
Lead the execution of Group Finance and group-wide finance initiatives to build desired Finance communities across the Group.

The position will support Group CFO Office to drive finance function talent development priorities for the finance community across all markets, and to lead the planning & execution of strategic group-wide functional events.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead Finance Functional Development
Lead and drive finance functional development strategies and execute initiatives that contribute to achievement of Finance learning and development objectives and business priorities across all markets.
Work closely with Finance leaders and HR functions across Group Office and business units to ensure strategic alignment
- Identify key talent initiatives at functional level, design, develop and roll-out to target audience, support learning & capability building of different streams of professionals within finance function (e.g. accounting, actuarial, treasury, taxation, sourcing)
- Conduct and maintain effective finance functional talent management process including logistics, monitor and report outcomes
- Examples of finance talent management focus are:
- ensure functional / group-wide finance training curriculum are updated based on required capabilities
- act as the project manager to develop finance training programme (e.g. programme structure, programme content) by collaborating with finance leaders, HR and external vendors
- act as the course owner / admin by partnering with subject matter expertise (e.g. internal / external) to ensure regular delivery of training cohorts from participant identification & enrolment, programme delivery to course evaluation o mobility, job rotation, new joiner orientation, buddy system
- liaise and manage relationship with professional qualification bodies on talent management support and assertion / renewals
Lead the execution of Group Finance and group-wide finance initiatives to build desired Finance communities across the Group.
- Be the leader in finance event conceptualization, agenda development, project planning, project management to onsite execution delivery.
- Work closely with internal (e.g. finance leaders, IT, HR, Corporate Communications) and external parties (e.g. production house, venue provider, external speakers) to ensure smooth execution of initiatives
- Examples of finance functional initiatives are:
- o Group-wide Finance Conference, all markets, annual) o Group Finance Townhall (Group Office, quarterly)
- o CFO meetings (all markets, quarterly)
- o Finance leaders off-site (Group Office, at least twice in a year)
- o Finance recognition programmes & celebration events
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance / Actuarial / Event / Marketing / Communications or related field,
- ~12 years+ relevant experiences
- Strong communication skills - verbal, written and visual
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation skills
- Innovative and forward-looking • With the attitude of challenging status quo and with effective influencing skills
- Understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, manage timeline, and run team meetings
- Ability to establish priorities, provide clear instructions & guidance to team members and proceed with objectives.
- Detailed oriented and strong execution capabilities
- Able to operate effectively in an agile, dynamic and complex environment • Experience in talent management is preferred
- Experience in event management for similar scale is preferred
- Experience with insurance / financial services industry would be given priority
