Page Personnel is partnering with a successful business who are looking for a Billing Specialist to join their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis.

Our client is a business who have seen rapid growth over the past 12 months. They are based in Salisbury and do require travel to their offices but do offer a hybrid model of working.

Description

As the Billing Specialist you will be responsible for:

• Preparation and updating of data in Company systems to maintain excellence in timeliness and accuracy of invoicing
• Production, quality control and issuing of monthly invoices
• Receipt, acknowledgement and validation of invoice disputes and adjustments where necessary; implementing corrective financial/data transactions when required
• Preparation and quality checks of all rental schedules with up to 30 external customers - liaising with our Finance team to ensure successful payment
• Preparation and issuing of termination advice and invoices to contracted customers for removed assets

Profile

To be successful for the Billing Specialist role, you must:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a commercial, preferably B2B environment, with responsibility for all aspects of billing - data gathering, reconciliation, quality control, invoicing, customer management and query resolution
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of energy metering, in particular, Smart/AMR meters and their data requirements
• Familiarity with credit, collections and debt management
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate and develop relationships at a highly professional level

Job Offer

Salary £30,000 - £40,000
