Part Time Assistant Management Accountant

Supporting the Finance Manager with month end tasks and being key member in the accounts team.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will be assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts including various general ledger analysis, assisting in the preparation of annual accounts, creation and input of manual journals, preparation of quarterly VAT returns and MTD submission, assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasting, providing monthly KPI Statistics, cost reporting, updating the fixed asset register, capital expenditure analysis and reconciliation, liaising with and supporting internal and external auditors and assist with sales and purchase ledgers.

Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the manufacturing/engineering sector, be confident to challenge and implement process improvement, be willing to work in the office based in Tamworth on days worked, have good attention and be confident using Excel.

Job Offer
