Senior Accounting System and Process Consultant

Job Description:

• Ability to assist in the design of applications/solutions based on group best practices;
• Liaise with end users and clients on client implementation and project delivery for assigned projects;
• Work with delivery and operations stakeholders ensure best practices are implemented and adhered to across fund services delivery platforms;
• Assist in the design and delivery of best practice training on supported applications;
• Ensure project prioritization is maintained for personal and team projects;
• Perform self-reviews of work to ensure attention to detail;
• Understand the governing agreements between Alter Domus, the clients and their investors;
• Project self as technical solutions specialist/SME for the application and industry being supported;
• Begin managing staff of junior platform delivery team members;
• Refine already existing strong understanding of the industry.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field);
• 3+ years of finance or accounting experience;
• Experience working with Close End Funds, Real Estate, or Private Equity:
• In-depth understanding of investments within assigned fund(s);
• Broad market knowledge;
• Strong communication and analytical skills; and
• CPA or CPA eligibility a plus.
