Account Assistant/ Executive

Responsibilities:
Providing the services include but are not limited to the following:  

• Responsible for handling local and overseas clients’ company accounts;
• Reconcile bank and vendor accounts, post to and balance general ledger, process payments and compile segments of monthly closings;
• Resolve accounting queries and issues that arise from the portfolios;
• Verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received;
• Prepare timely reports on Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), Bank Reconciliation and necessary reports;
• Assist the clients to set up the business flow and handle payroll when required;
• Ensure the clients comply with all statutory obligations;
• Other ad hoc tasks.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Finance/Accounting/Auditing or equivalent OR a professional qualification under MICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent;
• Candidates with working experience in accounting but without the qualification of the above requirement are encouraged to apply;
• Team player, meticulous, resourceful, able to multitask and work independently;
• Able to think out of the box, self-motivated, proactive, and with strong analytical qualities;
• Excellent client relationship skills and time management skills;
• High integrity and excellent work ethics, with a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and discipline;
• Possess good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with a positive attitude;
• Willing to work in a fast pace environment;
• Knowledge of Intuit Quickbooks Online (QBO) and Xero are added advantages;
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of Google Applications and mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets are added advantage;
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to speak and write Mandarin will be an added advantage.
